Non-Surgical Facial Rejuvenation
Non-surgical treatments can be used to treat signs of aging that do not yet require surgery. When used early and regularly, these non-surgical treatments can significantly slow down facial aging.
Botox is one of the most effective, non-invasive methods to restore youth and prevent aging. It is a tremendously satisfying procedure to do as a practitioner, as it produces dramatic results, with essentially a no down-time procedure. However, an effective Botox treatment is really a combination of art and science on the part of the practitioner.
I customize my Botox treatments for each patient differently, as no single method fits all facial types. There are a lot of elements that need to be taken into account, such as the client's existing eyebrow shape, facial structure, dimension, and length of forehead.
After a proper Botox treatment, your friends and colleagues should not be able to immediately discover that you've had Botox, but they should notice something more refreshed, relaxed, and attractive about you. That is the hallmark of an aesthetically pleasing treatment.
- Fillers are injectable substances that fill or add volume
- Fillers are injected into skin wrinkles and folds to plump them up
- Fillers replace lost facial fat which is lost during aging
The administration of fillers with respect to placement and quantity of product used requires an appreciation for facial contours and aesthetics. The selection of areas that need augmentation and the amount of augmentation is important to achieving a naturally rejuvenated and aesthetically attractive face.
Advanced filler techniques in the hands of an experienced practitioner can literally reverse the effects of aging and the loss of collagen in the face. I rely on advanced techniques and the combination of science and art to achieve a naturally rejuvenated facial aesthetic. It is very gratifying to be able to achieve tremendous results with procedures that have a long safety record and are minimally invasive.
Depending on the quantity of fillers that are used, some clients utilize fillers to prevent the aging process and facial sagging, while other clients utilize a higher quantity of fillers for a more dramatic improvement resulting in a non-surgical face lift effect
Chemical peels are a form of exfoliation that treat a number of conditions, including dull, aging skin, fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation. Chemical peels work because they are highly acidic, loosening and eradicating dead skin cells. This allows newer and healthier skin to rise to the surface.
Your skin should just look smoother, softer, and brighter. Light chemical peels can provide dramatic results on middle-aged to older clients who haven't been exfoliating. They can also be good for un-clogging pores and increasing cell turnover on acneic skin. These light chemical peels are usually done in a series of four to six, a week or two apart.
Superficial chemical peels may tingle or feel a little hot, but they don't require the downtime and healing required of moderate and deep peels.

Teosyal® Redensity [II]
A unique gel specifically designed to treat eye circles
After the successful launch in August 2012 of Teosyal® Redensity [I] - combining dermal filling and mesotherapy techniques - and after 9 years of research and clinical trials, Teoxane Laboratories in Geneva introduce a brand new product to the aesthetic medicine market, specifically developed to treat the difficult and sensitive area around the eyes.
From the age of 30, one woman out of two starts to be concerned about eye circles. With ageing the skin loses its tonicity and gets thinner. Muscles become looser. Each fat compartment in the skin develops itself on its own; they separate and disperse, forming hollows, ridges and folds. The orbits widen, the area increases and the infra-orbital margin retracts.
Teosyal® Redensity [II] is an injectable gel specifically adapted to treat the eye circles. It is a viscoelastic gel of both cross linked and non-modified hyaluronic acid. The gel is sterile, non-pyrogenic (= no feeling of warmness or heat after injection) and fully transparent and just slightly hygroscopic (= it attracts very little water resulting in minimal or no swelling after injecting). The viscoelasticity is perfectly designed to coat the eye circle region safely and durably and assures an easily spreading and controlled positioning of the gel.
It is indicated for treatment of eye circles, tear trough deformity, palpebromalar groove (= the horizontal groove under the eyes) and minimal palpebral bags (eye bags).
Teosyal® Redensity [II] contains:
- 15 mg (per ml) of Hyaluronic Acid,
- 8 amino acids (Glycine, Lysine, Threonine, Proline, Isoleucine, Leucine, Valine and Arginine,
- 3 antioxidants (Glutathion, N-acetyl-L-cysteine, Alphalipoic Acid),
- 2 minerals (Zinc and Copper)
- 1 vitamin (B6) and Lidocaine Hydrochloride (0,3%) has been added to provide the patient with maximal comfort and a virtually painless procedure.
The amino acids, vitamin and minerals are necessary for restructuring and cell regeneration and the antioxidants for cell protection while the hyaluronic acid replaces lost volumes and improves skin hydration.
A clinical trial showed lasting results for a period of one year while 72% of the patients did not need any touch up after the initial injection.
